Many search the Scriptures, speak the language of faith, and participate in religion while remaining distant from genuine intimacy with Christ. This message is a call to move beyond information and enter into true relationship with the living God.
From Information to Intimacy
In this message, we examined how easily people can become familiar with religion while remaining spiritually distant from the presence of God. Knowledge alone cannot produce true life. Scripture memorization, theology, and outward service are valuable, but without intimacy with Christ, they can become empty forms without spiritual transformation.
Jesus rebuked those who searched the Scriptures continually while refusing to come to Him for life. The issue was not their lack of biblical knowledge, but the condition of their hearts. True faith is not merely knowing facts about God — it is coming into relationship with Him through humility, surrender, obedience, and fellowship.
The testimony of Job reveals this transformation beautifully. At first, Job knew of God through hearing and understanding, but after encountering the Lord personally, he declared, ‘now mine eye seeth thee.’ Genuine relationship with God changes how a person sees, lives, and responds to Him.
This message is a call to seek not merely religious familiarity, but true communion with the living God.

Knowing Him Personally
Examine Your Heart
- Have you settled for knowledge about God while neglecting relationship with Him?
- Are you pursuing intimacy with Christ through prayer, obedience, and fellowship?
- Has your understanding of God produced genuine transformation within your life?
- Are you relying on religious activity more than true communion with the Lord?
- Have you truly come to Christ for life, or only studied about Him from a distance?

Final Encouragement

Those who truly seek Him will come to know Him in a deeper and more transforming way.
