Our Daily Bread

Short daily encouragements, reflections, and scripture-centered messages intended to nourish and strengthen believers in their everyday walk with Christ.

Subtle Distractions

It’s been two months since my last upload, and I had to be real about what was happening—procrastination, distractions, and the enemy’s traps were pulling me off course. But God gave me a Word from James 4:14 that shook me back into alignment.

They expected a King and were Given a Baby

In this episode of Our Daily Bread, we delve into Isaiah 9:6, uncovering how God’s answers often come in ways that defy our expectations. Just as the Israelites anticipated a mighty king and were instead given a child—a promise in seed form—God’s answers may not always align with what we envision. Yet within that seed lies the potential for something far greater than we could imagine. Join us as we reflect on the humble beginnings of Jesus, the Son given to us, and learn to trust God’s perfect timing and purpose, even when it doesn’t look the way we expect.

A Thanks Given for Victory

Our Daily Bread | Victory in Christ” In this episode of Our Daily Bread, we reflect on the powerful truth of 1 Corinthians 15:57: ‘But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.’ Life is full of trials, tribulations, and afflictions, but in Christ, victory is already won. Before the battles of life come, we give thanks to God for the triumph He has secured for us.

Exalting Him in His Rightful Position

Building on the foundation of Proverbs 14:12, this sermon dives into Romans 8:14, emphasizing the importance of allowing God to lead our lives. We reflect on what it means to be sons of God—those who are led by the Holy Spirit. This requires more than dependence; it demands a willingness to follow, a conscious decision to die to self, and a commitment to take up His cross daily. Join us as we explore the transformative journey of surrendering to His leadership.

A Total Dependence on God

In this sermon on Proverbs 14:12, we uncover the truth about God’s intentional design for our lives. God created us to be dependent—on Him. From a different perspective, we see that dependency is woven into every aspect of life, reflecting His divine purpose. However, when we choose paths outside of His will, it leads to death, destruction, and unfulfillment. Join us as we explore God’s presence in our dependency and the dangers of straying from His perfect plan.

Dwell on these Things

In this first episode of “Our Daily Bread,” we reflect on Philippians 4:8, a powerful verse that calls us to dwell on what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy. Together, we explore how applying this Word can help us declutter our thoughts, align our minds with God’s truth, and stay focused on our divine calling and purpose. Join us as we pray, meditate, and take the first steps toward clearer, God-centered thinking.
